Sample Test Results
If a Doctor or Nurse request that you hand in a sample, ensure that your sample has your details clearly written on it and leave it in our collection bin, just inside the front door of the Surgery.
Our sample testing is mainly done in the Laboratory at the Balfour Hospital. However other testing is carried out in Aberdeen or further afield. Most local testing is returned within a week, however some test results can take much longer to return.
The practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection.
We will only release test results to the person to whom they relate until that person has given prior permission for the release of the results to someone else if they are not able to understand the results.
