Currently most GP appointments are telephone consultations - Initially the GP will telephone you at your appointment time, if after speaking to you, the GP would like to examine you further arrangements will be made.
To make an appointment with the GP or Practice Nurse please phone 771209. Our Patient Service Coordinators will ask you some questions, theses questions are asked so that you can be dealt with quickly and by the most appropriate clinician.
If there are no appointments available, the reception staff will take a note of your name, what the problem is and your telephone details and the GPs will phone as soon as possible to discuss what is the best course of action for you. They will see medically urgent requests on the same day. If your call is placed after 3:00pm you may told that due to the late nature of the call, our clinicians may not be able to deal with your request on the same day. If you still require medical assistance after 6:00pm and have not been contacted by our clinicians you will need to contact NHS24.
If you are invited into the surgery to attend an appointment and need additional assistance, on are unable to comply with the surgery's Covid-19 safety measures, please advise the surgery before your appointment as additional precautions may need to be made to accommodate you. When attending your appointment:
- Please only enter the surgery at your appointment time, If you prefer you can wait outside or in your car. Please phone to let us know that you have arrived.
- Please wear a face mask - Please advise the surgery if you are unable to comply with this request before you attend your appointment as additional precautions may need to be made.
- You should attend your appointment alone, wherever possible. If you feel like you would like to bring someone for support, please let the admin team know.

If you or any member of your household has a high temperature, a new continuous cough or a loss of, change in smell of taste, you must not attend your appointment. Please contact us to rearrange.
If you have been asked to isolate due to contact with a positive Covid-19 case, you must not attend your appointment. Please contact us to rearrange.
If you cannot attend an appointment or no longer require your appointment it is important that you please telephone and cancel, so we can give your appointment to someone else.
