Home Visits

Doctor's bagWhilst we encourage our patients to come to the surgery where we have the proper equipment and facilities available, we do appreciate that this is not always possible. In this respect, if you do need a home visit, if possible please try to telephone before 10am.

Home visits are only available for patients who are housebound or are too ill to visit the practice. The Duty Doctor will only visit you are home if they think that your medical condition requires it and will also decide how urgently a visit is needed. Please bear this in mind and be prepared to provide suitable details to enable the Doctor to schedule their house calls.

A Doctor may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice, or that it would be more appropriate for a nurse to attend, or indeed arrange a hospital attendance.
